The heart and soul of Howlin’ Ray’s unique visual identity is their brand. Inspired by Nashville’s Southern Hot Chicken movement, this mark was created with the intent of giving Howlin’ Ray’s customers the same feelings of authenticity that they’d get around their mothers’ kitchen table. The mark itself features a primary logotype & a secondary banner encasing “Nashville Hot Chicken.” A supplementary mark (lovingly nicknamed “Lil’ Ray”) was also created, giving the brand even more personality of its own. 

Once you’ve cooked up a delicious identity – it’s time to taste test it elsewhere! In the case of Howlin’ Ray’s, this means ever-evolving marketing collateral including custom swag and other gear, as well as screen-printed posters, advertising, and anything else we can come up with.
